Acro dance is a style that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is an especially challenging style that conditions students and improves flexibility, strength, and control.

Ballet is a very formal and strict type of performance dance typically performed to classical music. Anyone can enjoy the beauty, grace, and discipline of ballet regardless of age, body size, or fitness level.

Jazz dancing is an energetic and fun form of dance that showcases a dancer’s individual style and originality through unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps, and quick turns.
Dance is an excellent source of physical education, discipline, motivation, and self-confidence. It is a wonderful way for children as young as three and adults alike to learn to appreciate many types of music and dance styles.
At the Deborah Thomson School of Dance, your child will be exposed to a variety of dance styles such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Musical Theatre with exceptional instruction. Dance has no age barriers. My studio offers lessons to adults and children alike, as children as young as three years of age can learn to appreciate the many types of music and dance styles.
