Dance is an excellent source of physical education, discipline, motivation and self-confidence. Children as young as 2.5 will learn to appreciate the many types of music and dance styles. Dance has no age barriers. My studio offers lessons to adults and children alike.
At the Deborah Thomson School of Dance your child will be exposed to a variety of dance styles such as Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Musical Theatre with exceptional instruction. Every June you will enjoy a recital and proudly watch your child’s achievements.
The studio offers a competitive program as well as a strong non-competitive dance curriculum. We strive to provide the best in technique in a fun way that makes it enjoyable for everyone!
The Deborah Thomson School of Dance has been in operation since September 1992. Since our opening, my devoted students have consistently achieved highest marks, countless overalls and medallions, scholarships and other prestigious awards across Canada and the United States. I have personally been honoured by being the recipient of numerous choreography awards, which are viewed and awarded by fellow teachers and choreographers across the country.
